At ReachOut Gallery, we take pride in curating and facilitating the sale of unique, original artworks. Due to the nature of art sales — often one-of-a-kind and created by independent artists — our Refund and Returns Policy is designed to balance customer satisfaction with artist protection.

1. Eligibility for Returns

Returns are accepted only under the following conditions:

  • The artwork arrived damaged during transit

  • The item received is significantly different from what was displayed on the website (e.g., incorrect artwork delivered)

Returns will not be accepted for:

  • Buyer’s remorse or change of mind

  • Minor differences in color, texture, or dimensions due to screen or photographic variations

  • Artworks that are custom-made, commissioned, or made-to-order

2. Return Request Procedure

If your item meets the return criteria, you must:

  1. Email us within 48 hours of delivery at info@reachoutgallery.com

  2. Include:

    • Your order ID

    • Photographs clearly showing the damage or issue

    • Description of the problem

  3. We will assess your request and respond within 3–5 business days with instructions on how to proceed.

Note: Late requests (beyond 48 hours) will not be accepted unless supported by exceptional proof.

3. Return Shipping

  • If the return is approved, the buyer is responsible for:

    • Safely packing the artwork in its original packaging

    • Arranging return shipping via a reliable courier with tracking

    • Paying any return shipping and insurance costs

  • In case of confirmed damage, RO may coordinate pickup through its logistics partners on a case-by-case basis.

4. Refund Process

Once the returned item is received and inspected:

  • You will be notified of the refund approval or rejection

  • If approved, the refund will be processed:

    • To your original payment method (Credit Card, UPI, Net Banking)

    • Or through cheque/bank transfer (in certain cases)

Refunds are typically issued within 7–10 business days of return approval.

RO reserves the right to deduct applicable handling or platform fees in case the artwork was returned without valid cause or was mishandled after delivery.

5. Cancellations

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed and payment is made.

  • In rare cases where cancellation is approved before dispatch, RO may refund the amount after deducting transaction charges and platform fee.

6. Damaged or Lost in Transit

If an artwork is damaged or lost during shipping:

  • ReachOut Gallery will coordinate with the logistics partner to file a claim.

  • If the claim is approved, the buyer may receive a replacement (if available), store credit, or refund.

7. Refunds for International Orders

  • For artworks shipped outside India, buyers are responsible for customs, import duties, and return shipping.

  • Refunds will not include any taxes or duties paid unless refundable by the country’s customs authority.
